Well, by Saturday Mom was feeling much much better and finally had a bit of an appetite. So we went to Hamanasi for lunch. Great Food! Beautiful Place. The nice thing about the resorts in Hopkins is that all the resorts have a different feel and focus.
Its fun to visit each one to see a unique side of Belize.
Phil was at work... again... but he loves his work!
We also stopped at the old Sugar Mill in Sittee river. We got a bit of a tour this time with a worker. This is a Fig tree! There is also equipment at the sight from Virginia dated back to the 1860's. Way back when, the sugar cane area was here in the south, and the north was citrus... hence the town Orange Walk. Now the south is all citrus and the sugar is all in the north.
